Can I use the camelbak filtered by LifeStraw filter with my older eddy®+ or eddy®+ kids caps?

No, you need the Eddy® + filtered by LifeStraw® Cap in order to hold the filter. This cap is not the same as the standard Eddy® + or Eddy® + Kids Cap, though they look similar.
